Benicàssim, Spain
The participants of Clicktivism Unleashed have put together a handbook on digital activism, based on our Erasmus+ youth exchange held in Benicàssim in October 2026.
The handbook is not a full account of the week. Instead, the participants chose what they felt was most relevant and useful to share: what they learned, the methods that worked, and examples from the sessions, discussions and campaigns. It is written by young people for other young people and youth workers who want to work with digital activism. Inside you’ll find:
- how the group created its own constitution, anthem and logo;
- the basic structure used for most of the activities;
- tactics for both pressure campaigns and supportive ones (“campaigns of love and hate”);
- how memes were used to discuss activism and policy change;
- activities designed and run by the participants themselves;
- the six campaign topics developed on the final campaign creation day.
It is free to download and use in your own work with young people.
